What are the advantages and disadvantages of fast food in your opinion?

On the one hand, there are advantages in choosing fast foods. First of all, they save time. When someone orders fast food, it takes only a few minutes for them to receive the food and eat it but for a traditional meal they need to spend at least an hour or two. Fast foods are prepared quickly in restaurants or can be bought in frozen packs from supermarkets. Secondly, it is less expensive to order or make fast foods at home compare to other types of foods. Both the ingredients and the fact that they are prepared in large amount help to keep the price low. So, many people specially the students and workers choose them frequently. (117 words)
On the other hand, however, there is a negative side to fast foods. First of all, many studies have shown that fast food consumption for a long time is unhealthy as they contain a lot of fat and salt, which can lead to obesity and many other health issues later in life. While these foods smell and taste delicious, their long-term negative effect is undeniable. Secondly, since these foods are prepared quickly and can be consumed everywhere, their popularity decreases the family time. Family members especially younger ones spend less time with other members and prefer to spend lunch or dinner time alone or with their friends in fast food restaurants which is not a pleasant change.
