Sample Answer band 7.5
Two maps indicate the suburban areas of a town named Fosbury in 1980 and in 2015. It appears that there have been dramatic increase in the availability of facilities in this area.
Overall, the area has undergone noticeable changes everywhere and accommodations plus various facilities have developed.
A roundabout is constructed in the central part of this area which connects four main roads to various directions. This construction, has affected a residential area and the local store that used to existed at the very same spot, but a hotel in their north is still there. To the right of the hotel, a couple of terraced houses have given their place to a large supermarket along with a car park.
In the northwest of this area, there was a set of houses by street, overlooking a park and a piece of barren land back in 1980. While the park has replaced the barren land on the right, the park itself has been replaced by a residential area.
In 1980, in the southern area, there were two tennis courts on the left and a rather large field on the right with a road in between. By 2015, however, a warehouse has been built on the fields and tennis courts have developed into a sport center and a car park.
