As a result, saving for emergencies or retirement is often overlooked. This lack of financial planning may leave individuals vulnerable to economic instability, especially during crises such as unemployment, medical emergencies, or inflation.
Furthermore, this trend can have broader societal consequences. A population that lacks savings is more dependent on government support during difficult times, placing additional burdens on public welfare systems.
