The set of visuals below is a reflection of a research that shows the number of visitors to Ashdown museum and the level of visitors’ satisfaction before and after a renovation.

Overall, it is apparent that both the number of visitors and their level of satisfaction have dramatically improved after the repair.

As pie charts show, just under a third of all respondents (30%) before refurbishment were satisfied and half of this number (15%) were very satisfied. After the repair, same categories increased to 40 and 35 percent, respectively. Half of whole visitors were either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied before refurbishment (40% and 10% respectively). These figures plunged to 15% and merely 5% respectively. On both occasions, 5 percent of respondents chose not to respond and labeled as “no response” in the pie charts.

The tables show the year before the improvement, Ashdown museum had 74,000 visitors, while this number rose markedly and just after renovation, it was visited by 92,000 people.  (۱۶۲ words)

The chart shows how much people in UK used telephones in three different categories: Local line, National and international fixed line and Mobiles between 1995 and 2002.

In 1995, Local calls were more than 70 billion minutes. This number increased about 20 billion minutes to 90  in 1998. It then started to decrease to a 70 billion minutes again.

At the beginning, the number of minutes spoken using National and international fixed line was less that 40 billion minutes. This number only increased gradually for the next 7 years to the highest amount, over 60 billion minutes, in 2002.

The number of minutes spent on the Mobile calls were only a few billion minutes in 1995 and this rather small number increased slightly to just under 10 billion minutes in 1999. Next it surged dramatically to a peak of 45 billion minutes at the end of the period in 2002.

Overall, it seems the big difference in popularity among all three categories at the beginning started to  diminish and at the final year all these categories had  very similar level of popularity. (182 Words)

The charts illustrates the total length of time spent on three groups of telephone calls in UK over a period of eight years from 1995 to 2002.

The most popular way of telephoning was local calls by fixed line in the beginning of the period in 1995 with slightly over 70 billion minutes, which started to rise gradually for the next four years to reach a peak of 90 million minutes, before falling back to the level of 1995.

Two other categories, National and International fixed lines and Mobiles, though quite different in popularity at the beginning(37 billion minutes for the former and only about 3 billion minutes for the latter), showed  an increase all over the period, peaking at over 60 and 45 billion minutes respectively in 2002. This growth for mobile calls was quite slow for the first few years but in 1998 it took off and surged to a peak of 45 billion minutes at the end of the period.

Overall, while Local fixed line was the only category that showed a decline in the number of minutes, two other ones only experienced growth. Also, despite the considerable differences in popularity, all three categories were quite popular at the end and had the least difference at the end. (211 Words)

The graph shows the average weekly hours spent by schoolchildren on two different leisure activities at home over a period of nine years from 2000 to 2008.

Schoolchildren aged 10 to 11 years old spent less than 4 hours per week on computer in 2000. This number increased considerably over the next 4 years to 15 hours in 2004. At the beginning of the same period (2000), the time spent on watching TV was 21 hours per week, which remained the same over the nest three years. Next, it fell rapidly from 21 to 15 hours weekly in 2004.

Schoolchildren continued to spend more time on computer from 2004 and 2008 and the number reached a peak of just under 22 hours. At the same time despite a fluctuation between 2005 and 2006, the time spent on watching TV remained stable at the level of almost 15 hours per week.

Overall, While TV was much more popular than computer at the beginning of this period, it seems the time schoolchildren spent on them has reversed. (۱۷۵ words)

Two maps depict a tropical island of a few hundreds square meters before and after the construction of some leisure facilities for tourists.

It appears that two sites for tourists accommodation have been built, which are connected to each other and to other areas with footpath. There is also a reception in the middle of the island, which is accessible by a vehicle track from the southern part, where a pier is constructed for some pleasure boats. The other significant change is a single restaurant in the northern part of the island that can be also accessed by vehicles. The beach in the western side can be used for swimming after this development. There are also some palm trees in the western and eastern regions of the island, which seem to be untouched by this change.

Overall, the development which appears to be more concentrated on the western side and the center, has dramatically changed the face of the island in a way that it can accommodate a few hundreds of tourists at the same time. (177 Words)

Two maps show the construction of facilities in an island. One map show the situation before and one map after the construction.

In the first map there is not much for possible tourists to enjoy except a swimming area in the left side of the island. How ever in the second map there is a restaurant in the middle of the island on the left close to a reception. There is a vehicle track for tourists who want to reach the reception or the restaurant. Other important change is the construction of several accommodation sites for tourists not far from the reception. Other important facilities for enjoyment of tourists are the boats for sailing in the southern side of the island, where a pier can be seen and a beach for swimming in the left side.

Overall, it seems the island is totally different after the construction of tourist facilities and especially the western and middle parts can be a good place for tourists to enjoy their stay. (167 Words)

Some argue that teenagers enjoy the happiest times. First of all, they do not share responsibility in their homes and simply benefit from everything that is made available by their parents. Even if they share some responsibilities around the house or start a part time job, it will at the minimum level of responsibility with maximum financial and emotional support and hence, they will not be under the stress of juggling numerous tasks in a hectic lifestyle. Secondly, they have abundant free time to choose their leisure activities and pursue their true hobbies. A luxury that majority of adults will not be able to afford.(105 words)

On the other hand, however, there are those who argue for adulthood as the happiest time in one’s life. First of all, the opportunities that only a citizen in their adult years can enjoy is mentioned as an important reason. This includes a more preferable socioeconomic status and the respect that one earns as the result or the opportunity of starting a family. Secondly, adults tend to have more secure careers that bring about not only higher salaries but also more security and ease of life. Society gives them both the right and support to have family of their own if only they wish to take their lives to the next step.(112 words)

Do you prefer to live in a big city or in a small town?

More facilities and services
#More budget
#More demand

Better situation for work
#More salary
#wider range of jobs

.

نمونه پاسخ نوشته شده توسط مدرس

.

There are more facilities and services in a big city compared to a small town. First of all, there is more budget in a big city and as a result more services are available. This budget makes it possible to build many more clinics and hospitals or large universities with modern laboratories. Secondly, many more people live in a big city and they need many things for their everyday lives. They need transportation and thousands of schools for their children. They also need parks and cinemas to spend their free time after their work and because of these needs, facilities should be available for them.(104 words)

.

Big cities provide a better situation for job. First of all, it is easier to have a higher salary in big cities because companies and factories are bigger and they need more managers and supervisors. It may take ten years for an employee to go to next level at work in a small town but in a big city it may take only a few years. Secondly, the range of jobs are wider and many specialists with university degrees can find jobs. There are customers for special services and products and companies and factories hire people who can produce them, so not only simple workers but also experts can take jobs (111 words)

Recently, many technological breakthroughs have been already made in the field of agriculture, but food scarcity is still one of the most considerable importance issues in different parts of the globe. In this essay, I will explain root causes of this phenomenon as well as some practical solutions.

There are a number of contributing factors responsible for the prevalence of this issue. First of all, undoubtedly, the world population is increasing on an unprecedented scale and demands outweigh the existing supplies. With this end in view, regardless of conspicuous improvements in crop cultivation and harvesting, keeping pace with the growing demand for food is more difficult. Secondly, in spite of cutting-edge technologies employed in modern horticulture, the price of food products still remains high, that is probably why, many companies with profit-driven view producing expensive food in glamorous packages instead of providing products with affordable price.

However, certain measures can be taken to eradicate hunger worldwide. First of all, governmental supervision should inform society members about the dire consequences of population growth and the number of people who suffering from hunger. Secondly, government officials should allot heavily subsidized meals for the lower class of society. For example, in some Middle-East countries, rice and bread are considered as the materials that their prices are strictly controlled by governments.

By way of conclusion, although, the recent decades have witnessed a significant development in agricultural techniques, many people still suffering from starvation issue throughout the world. there are some problems and two workable schemes which can be launched by officials to curb the spread of the problem.

  • Given is a bar chart illustrating the percentage of landlords and renters in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011.
Clearly, in 1918, approximately three-quarters of people were households in owned accommodation while, a slightly less than a quarter of them were rented accommodation in the same year. Following which the number of landlords started to fall moderately and reached exactly 50% in 1971. By contrast, the total number of tenants increased about double and reached 50% during the same period.
During 1971, the number of landlords and tenants was equal. Afterwards, the percentage of landlords fell by roughly 30% and reached its lowest level in 2001, while, the percentage of tenants started to increase and reached a slightly less than 70%. It is clear that the number of landlords came to a half while, the percentage of tenants reached more than doubled.
In 2011, the number of landlords increased by 35%, but the number of tenants fell by 65%.
Overall, there was a significant difference between the number of landlords and renters between 1918 and 2011. Only in 1971, their percentage were equal. (184)

The given bar chart presents the proportion of families who had bought and rented housing in England and Wales from 1918 to 2011.

Overall, during the first half of the period, the percentage of households in rented accommodation was higher than that of those owning their own home, while an opposite trend was observed over the final 30 years.

In 1918, families renting accommodation accounted for just over 75%, triple that of those in owned accommodation. This figure dropped dramatically to 50% in 1971, despite a period of stability between 1939 and 1953. By contrast, the proportion of households in owned accommodation more than doubled, with the figure standing at just under 25% in 1918, remaining stable at around 30% from 1939 to 1953 before rising to equal those in rented accommodation.

From 1981 to 2001, the proportion of families owning a home continued its rising trend to reach a peak of nearly 70% before dropping by 5% in 2011. The percentage of tenants saw a different pattern, with numbers experiencing a gradual decline to just above 30% in 2001, followed by a small rise of 5%.

  • Nima Da    Nima Da

A glance at the bar chart provided reveals an information about amounts of owners and renters of accommodation in the UK and Wales during the period from the 1918 to 2011.

The amounts of tenants were over 75 % (that was the highest percent throughout the period) in 1918. It fell down to approximately 70 % in 1939 and remained stable until 1953, then continued to decline gradually to 2001 achieving about 30 % . However, the chart experienced a slight growth of renters in 2011.

In contrast, the percentage of housing owners in England and Wales was over 20 % in 1918, climbing to approximately 30 % in 1939. The amount of owners in 1953 demonstrates a period of stability, however it rose up to 40 % in 1961 and increased gently, and achieved to approximately 70 percent in 2001. It is clear, that in 1971 the amount of households in owned and rented accommodation was equal.

Overall, it is evident, that the percentage of households in owned accommodations increased moderately, while chart for people, who rented houses shows a downward trend.

The today’s modern society, we are significantly surrounded by much more choices. That way, we have to choose one among much choice. Some people including me argue having many choice has advantages others believe that it has some drawbacks.

In 21st century, duo to industrialization, there are too much segmented options when we purchase goods, which makes it hard to select only one among them that It takes a lot of time. First of all, when we visit markets for buying and do shopping, we may find too many goods with same type and different brands and quality. Secondly, as each product advertises itself with different features and prices, comparing products respectively to find out the best product provokes consumers’ exhaustion. Therefore, from the example of the supermarket, it can be seen that we have considerably many choices to purchase.

More and more countries trade their different products to foreign countries, the range of choices have kept being more wider. First of all, consumers even need to consider producing countries of products they want to purchase. For example, when there are several kinds of goods from different country such as England and USA, consumers are given one more factor to consider for consuming those goods. Secondly, having a lot of choices makes the best choice based on the taste of the persons. for instance, if you want to purchase a Mobile phone there are numerous choices to pick up, to get a better one which you like.

In conclusion, although some people are suffering from excessive many choices in modern society, others believe that having many choice has some benefits.

  • Making a choice is not easy in a wide variety of choice. Although, some people including me believe that nowadays we have too many choices, others disagree. These two views will be discussed in this essay.
There are those who maintain that the number of choices for the people has increased. First of all, technology and science have progressed and this has led to an increase in the number of facilities which human needs to live. Numerous facilities cause more options to choose. For instance, today the number of the means of communication has increased and this situation gives people a wide variety of choice. Secondly, some new industries are invented in the world, such as fast transportation, that helps people to have more choices to travel than before. Today tourists travel around the world by airplane, ship or train.
On the other hand, however, there are those who believe we do not have too many choices. First of all, the number of options has increased but the cost of choosing them has risen. Today we have more options around us about everything but they are not easily accessible to choose all of them. For instance, it seems impossible for some people to access a variety of foods, especially in Africa. Secondly, the nature of the choices has changed, otherwise, the number of choices for the people has remained constant or has not changed much. For example, the number of TV channels has increased, but the variety of historic programs may have remained constant and only their time has increased.
In conclusion, I believe today we have more options to choose than before. Although some argue people have too many choices, others believe the number of our choice has not increased. (291)

  • Hajar H    Hajar H

We have been surrounded by a wide diversity of opportunities during recent decades. Although some people making the general assertion that people these days are faced with countless choices, others have opposite viewpoint.in this essay I will discuss both of views.

Some people agree with this issue for two rational justifications. First of all, with the advent of advanced technologies, people are able to choose wide range of products with high quality. To clarify, they can place a great emphasis to do online shopping instead of traditional shopping. they can choose the best product in terms of quality and price, and purchase it even from remote companies. Secondly, the creative methods to produce variety of food and its preservation have benefitted human population with provision of significant types of edibles during whole the year. For instance, non-seasonal can be bought from food market irrespective of the weather conditions due to modernized preservation methods.

Nevertheless, some people disagree with this standpoint for two fundamental reasons. First of all, there is a direct connection between people’s income level and whatever they want to choose. In other words, it is not technically feasible for everyone to consider all the existing options when making a decision. for example, someone from low income brackets cannot afford to buy designer clothes. Secondly, the vast majority of people who are living in underdeveloped countries do not have too much access to some of state-of-the-art technologies due to major impediments such as war and sanction. For example, in my country Iran, people do not have any access to robots or IOT technologies and individuals fail to choose what they like because lack of these modern technologies.

By way of conclusion, people have opportunity to choose many options, however, there are some limiting factors which have a far-reaching impact on consumers choices.

One of the most important challenges of our era is the world starvation. In despite of ever-growing advances in agricultural and food production, some areas of the world still suffer from this dilemma. This essay will examine some of the causes followed by reasonable solutions.

On the one hand, while there are a lots of reasons, some are more predominant. First of all, the wealth distribution is unfair. there is a huge gap between the rich people and those who are poor, which means in spite the developments in agricultural that have result to an excess of food products, some people do not have the financial means to buy them. Secondly, the majority of produced food is wasted. There are the huge amount of consumables that are thrown away especially in developed countries is unfortunate. Recent research suggests that just in the U.S alone, approximately 100 million tons of food has been wasted in 2017.

On the other hand, the aforesaid challenge can be tackled if the right methods are used. First of all, by increasing salaries and decreasing unemployment rate, more people will have the capital to be able to provide food for their dependents and themselves. for instance, everyone who have higher salary usually can provides all of their needs and consequently does not be worried about basic needs. Secondly, increasing sales-tax for food products in rich countries warrants the food waste prevention. If someone pay more cash for some product it lead to take care not to waste.

In conclusion, although world starvation is a growing concern in our world that it depends on various reasons such as wealth distribution, food wastage and so on, it can be control by reasonable solutions like increasing wages, Sales tax in developed countries and strict rules.

Given is the bar chart illustrates the amounts of electricity produced and consumed in ten countries in 2014.

It seems that China had higher amount of generation and utilization approximately 5,398 and 5,322 billion kWh respectively, followed by the US with 4,099 billion kWh produced and 3,866 billion kWh consumed. In contrast to Republic of Korea which had lower figures among other countries at the same year. Moreover, all top countries produced adequate electricity so that their productions were slightly more than their usages except Germany which used more electricity than its generation.

In addition, Russia, Japan and India occupied positions three, four and five in the top ten respectively, with regard to generation figures [between 1,057 and 871 billion kWh]. And Canada, France, Brazil and Germany came next in order of reducing amounts of electricity produced and utilized.

Overall, China and United States were leaders and Korea was lowest in both for generation and utilization of electricity, also in all countries the generation was slightly more than their utilization except Germany in 2014.

Recently there are different views on the value of school curriculum. Although some people believe that History plays the important role in the school subjects, others assess that Science and Technology and related issues are more important. This essay will examine both of these issues.

On one hand, there are many important reasons to studying about historical figures and events of the past is still related. First of all, knowing about History can help nurturing a wide range of moral values in students and can motivate their outlook on life. For instance, through studying the war of ancient Iran, teachers can inspire young learners with a sense of patriotism, valor and instill in their mind the value of peace. Secondly, it can be reflection of past lifestyle and also enable student to systematically develop their own views of a better life people should strive for.

On the other hand, the subjects oriented towards science and technology bring many irrefutable advantages. First of all, the current topics teach and persuade learners to work methodically while still nurturing their sense of identity and their creativity. There is a good instance says when students do electricity labs, they are required to follow particular safety rules and certain sets of process. Secondly, these days the technology is now nigh-omnipresent, it is crucial that students acquire fundamental skills and knowledge about this field in order to function properly in the modern world. For instance, it is necessary to learn the students how to use the searching engine of Google.

In conclusion, it seems that both History and Science and Technology are integral to the modern education as they play different, since irreplaceable roles in shaping a modern citizen with particular qualities.

learning different disciplines at school can have a far- reaching impact on students life. Although some people assert that history is one of the significant educational subjects, others including me maintain that science and technology have priority over history. In this essay I will discuss both views.

Some society members believe that, there are some advantages for students who study about past events. First of all, history in some ways preserves our national identity where it keeps us rooted in the past. In other words, this gives us the chance to know more about our past generation and have a sense of belonging. This feeling is more likely to create national identity and pride. Secondly, learning about historical accounts can stimulate learner’s imagination. To clarify, studying history enabling students to learn about past events and increase their fertile imagination. For example, with studying some compelling stories about battles and wars they can have a vivid imagination and help them to make right decisions for their future life.

Nevertheless, another group of people claim that students should allot their time and energy to study about scientific fields and technological developments for two main reasons. First of all, it helps them to adjust with the modern live. That is probably why, we are living in a fast-changing society and students to keep abreast of the latest developments should learn to work with tools and appliances. For example, they should learn to use computer for writing assignments and doing research activities on the Internet. Secondly, scientific subjects which presented in schools offer more employment opportunities in the future. To put it differently, Skilled workforces have been an integral part of the cut-throat competitive job market and employers today look for candidates who are specialized in a particular field.

By way of conclusion, there are cogent arguments on both sides. It is my firm conviction that, Scientific subjects can be more beneficial for students than history.

  • Education help us to think more. Some people believe that History is one of the most essential school subjects but, others including me think Science and Technology subjects are more crucial in today’s world. These two views will be discussed in this essay.

some think History is one of the most important subjects in school. First of all, History describes human’s life and mentions their considerable experience in the past. History gives new generation some practical advice about how ancient people survived and they behaved. For instance, help us to understand why the world wars happened. Secondly, History provides a sense of the past world and allows us to study about successes and failures of humans in some special relationship with other countries. It can allow us to think about some subjects (such as art and religious) and their effects on human’s life. It is true that History is a record of our past.

On the other hand, however, there are those who believe subjects like Science and Technology must be taught in schools. First of all, these sciences have helped people to live in more comfort with more useful facilities than the past. Nowadays, it is easy for people to access some resources and facilities such as clean water, food and energy to reduce for instance, the molarity rate. Secondly, without Science and Technology we just had a normal life. They have forced human to learn more about the universe and move forward. New tools are invented for exploring the world. man’s journey to the moon is one of the greatest human experiences that comes with science.

In conclusion, I believe Science and Technology have helped us to move forward. Although some argue History is one of the most important subjects, others believe Science and Technology are more important. (299)

The two maps demonstrate the differences in road access to a city hospital in two different years, 2007 and 2010

The most considerable change from road access in 2007 to 2010 was the construction of buses parked near the Hospital in 2010. This structure was achieved by creating a new bus station on the left side of hospital road, which is connected to three main Roads with two roundabouts at the entrance and the exit of the Hospital Road

Besides, there is another change in 2010 which it can be seen is that staff car park was separated from the public car park. Living in a different language new country where someone has immigrated, could make complicated social and personal problems. Although some people are opponent with this idea others including me concur with it. This essay will examine the second viewpoint.

The important issues that people who immigrated to a foreign country should try to settle are finding and keeping an occupation or a job. First of all, to get hired in the first work opportunity will be a difficult job. To resolve the lack of these language skills. The majority of clients wish to employee who has had work experience before to confirm their language barrier result to some misunderstanding in the workplace in other words, the employee who does not know the language well cause to could not understanding of slang and some expressions of clients that it would be the controversial matter

The other top issues that the person who immigrated have to acquire could be the skills of Social communication. First of all , the person should be learned in other to get familiar with the new community and communicate social values and customs or interact with them to live and find friends. Thus, the language barrier should be eliminated if foreigners want to combat social communication problems. Secondly, someone who does not know the language should be taught social behaviors. The fundamental reason is that some attitudes might have happened without knowing about the meaning which lead to the person become alone, and consequently face to some illness like mental disorder and some psychological problems or depression.

In conclusion, I am a strong advocate of this approach and believe that there are some trouble which people who do not know the language in a foreign country deal with them. These kinds of problems have not only social aspects but also have the personal aspect points.

It is often argued that, living in a foreign-speaking country is cause both social and practical predicaments for non-native speakers. I completely disagree with the given claim on the basis of two compelling reasons.

First of all, it is beyond doubt that, technology has a crucial role to keep abreast of the modern life style. it can revolutionize the ways that we communicate. with technology, people have ability to provide their basic needs and carry out their necessary tasks without speak with others. That is probably why, social interactions it’s not necessary to obtain something that we want. the outstanding example is that, nowadays, people eagerly tend to set aside traditional form of shopping and buy some goods online without feeling obliged to linguistic abilities.

Secondly, there are many state- of -the -art educational teaching models, that received wide currency among people who want to learn foreign language. To clarify, language experts put a great emphasis on foreign Language teaching methods such as immersion, audio-lingual and grammar-translation. these programs provide opportunity for non-native speakers to convey their message without have an excellent command of foreign language. after a short time, they can develop their communication skills and learn new language.

By way of conclusion, it is my firm conviction that, speaking another language in a foreign country cannot create insuperable obstacles for people who living abroad. this is due to the two main facts that, technology plays a crucial role to help them also, new teaching methods revolutionized the way that newcomers can communicate with each other.
